Two cellphone thieves held at Kukatpally
Cops recovered 30 smartphones worth Rs 6 lakh from their possession

Hyderabad: The police nabbed two persons for stealing high-ended mobile phones from bus passengers in Kukatpally. The accused, both in their twenties, would divert the attention of the passengers and flee with the phones.
The cops recovered 30 smartphones worth Rs 6 lakh from their possession.
The accused have been identified as Chota Ajay, 27, and Vinay, 23, both residents of Almasguda in Kukatpally.
According to the police, Ajay and Vinay would board crowded buses to steal the phones.
“Most of the phones they stole were kept in the shirt pockets of the victims,” said K. Kranti Kumar, investigating officer, Kukatpally police station.
