Actress is unhappy about the way her role has shaped up in Humshakals
A fortnight ago, we had broken the story about Bipasha Basu parting ways with her Humshakals director Sajid Khan. She is unhappy about the way her role has shaped up in the film. She felt her role is not at par with the other actresses in the film, the relatively newcomers Tamannaah Bhatia and Esha Gupta. “Being a senior actor and a bigger star, Bipasha was assured that she’d get a higher billing in the film and that she would have more songs and scenes with Saif Ali Khan. The raw deal disappointed her,” say sources close to Bips.
On Wednesday, Bipasha tweeted saying, “This is to put an end to all the discussions around my absence for Humshakals promotions. I take full responsibility of getting into a film only on the basis of trust. But after dubbing for my character in the film, as I had professionally committed to do so I’m extremely disturbed by the end result of the same…” Interestingly, the actress in her tweet went on to thank everyone but Sajid.
