CM Chandrababu Naidu finalises 11 Andhra Pradesh institutes
Visakhapatnam-circuit, being touted as the future industrial hub, will have the IIM
Hyderabad: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has finalised the location of 11 national-level premier institutes to be set up in state in accordance with the AP Reorganisation Act. All three regions of the state — south Andhra, north Andhra and Rayalaseema — have been included.
Prestigious institutes such as the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (on 200 acres), National Institute of Technology (300 acres), Agricultural University (500 acres) and National Institute of Disaster Management (10 acres) will come up in the Krishna-Guntur circuit, where the new capital city of AP is likely to be built.
The Visakhapatnam-circuit, being touted as the future industrial hub, will have the Indian Institute of Management (200 acres), International Institute of Information Technology (100 acres), Tribal University (500 acres), and Petroleum University (200 acres).
