Nara Lokesh takes charge of NTR Trust Bhavan
Lokesh took charge as the co-ordinator of TD workers welfare fund
Hyderabad: While N. Chandrababu Naidu took charge as Chief Minister at his camp office, his son Nara Lokesh simultaneously took charge as the co-ordinator of TD workers welfare fund at the state party headquarters NTR Trust Bhavan.
Mr Lokesh said as his and his father’s gotram was the same, they decided to take charge at the same auspicious time. After taking charge, the CM signed the files on which his Cabinet took decisions during a meeting held on June 8 at Visakhapatnam.
Meanwhile Mr Lokesh, speaking to the media said that he felt proud to enter the party office for the first time. “My political arangetram was done one-and-a-half years back. I have been working for the TD from that day onwards,” he said.
In the recent general elections I also campaigned on behalf of the party for 23 days, but this is the first time I have stepped into the party office.” He said after discussing with party leaders and workers they will decide on the guidelines to help the party workers who suffered during the 10 year Congress rule. Lokesh said that no other party in the country has such a strong party cadre like TDP.
He said that the party has launched welfare funds to help the party workers who are in need irrespective of Telangana, Rayalaseema and coastal Andhra. Lokesh said that he will not interfere in the government and party. He said that the TDP president Chandrababu is allotting three hours every day for the party activities and his job is only to look after the workers welfare fund. He said that he will available to the party workers at any time and they can walk in to his office without an appointment. He said that they are planning insurance for the party workers, free treatment in the hospitals and will set up some small scale industries for the workers. Lokesh said that he will start from Telangana, and tour, Rayalaseema and coastal regions to sort out the workers problems.
