A group of 25 bikers from the Hyderabad chapter of Xtreme Breaking Horse Power commemorated World Motorcycle Day on June 21. To make the day memorable they decided to donate clothes to the homeless and food at an orphanage.

The biker gang started from Paradise Circle by 10 am and as they passed the homeless on the streets, the 25-member team kept distributing used clothes. They then rode towards Kamalamma’s Home, an orphanage at Marredpally. Besides giving chocolates to the children, the bikers also donated saris, shirts and trousers to everybody.

“On World Motorcycle Day, instead of doing the regular long rides that almost every biker hopes to do, we thought why not engage in a social cause. We have done this for the first time and the experience taught us so much and the smiles on the faces of these orphans were priceless. We also found many sick kids at the orphanage and have now decided to arrange a free medical camp for them soon,” said 70-year-old M.A. Kaleem, a member of the group.
