Hyderabad: The YSRC, the main Opposition party in the AP Assembly, boycotted the first Business Advisory Committee meeting held on Saturday under the chairmanship of Assembly Speaker Kodela Siva Prasada Rao.

Mr Rao formed the new BAC with seven members. The BAC was constituted with 14 members in the united Andhra Pradesh  Assembly which had 294 members.

In the new committee,  the Speaker has decided to give a chance to four members from the TD and two members from the Opposition and one member from the BJP.

But the YSRC MLAs met the Speaker and sought seats for four members of their party. The Speaker explained to them that in the united state too, the BAC had  only two members from the Opposition, and now too the number remains same.

Later, though the Speaker accepted the YSRC’s demand that three persons will attend the BAC meeting, the party  boycotted the meeting.
