Iran keeps women off volleyball

Tehran: Female fans and even women journalists were not allowed to attend a World League volleyball match between Iran and Italy on Sunday.

Women were reportedly turned away from the Azadi Stadium, while female reporters were ordered to leave.

Female spectators are also banned from attending football matches in Iran.
