Forteleza: Ivory Coast kept theirWorld Cup hopes alive with a hard fought 2-1 win over Japan, but now the qualification to the knockout stage lies in their own hands. Victory in this match will confirm their qualification and anything less than that will make things complicated for the the elephants. A draw against Greece would mean that they will have to rely on other teams results to qualify. If Japan  draw or lose to Colombia then it would come down to goal difference which the Ivorians would like to avoid . For the likes of Didier Drogba, Yaya Toure or Gervinho this is their last chance for redemption.

Greece still has to find the back of the net after losing to Colombia 3-0 and then drawing against  Japan 0-0 to earn a point. Greece will be without their captain and defensive midfielder Konstantinos Katsouranis, who was sent off against Japan. Striker Kostas Mitroglou is expected to be leading the line along with Theofanis Gekas and try and notch the team's first goal.

Yaya and Kolo Toure will be playing against Greece despite the death of their 28-year-old brother, Ibrahim, who died of cancer last week. Defender, Kolo Toure and Drogba are expected to start this time around.

If the Ivory Coast wins, it will be its first trip to the knockout rounds ever. If everything goes right for Greece and it wins (and Japan loses), it would also mark its first trip to the knockout rounds. Either way, there's a good chance that history will be made.
