Stalked and harassed on social networking site teen commits suicide in Kolkata
The accused began harassing and stalking the girl her she broke up with him
Kolkata: An 18-year-old school girl committed suicide after her online friend uploaded a morphed picture on the social networking site, police said.
The class eleven girl student committed suicide on Tuesday night in Parnasree area after she found her online friend Faizal Iman Khan had uploaded her morphed and obscene picture on the social networking site along with her phone numbers.
After she found out the morphed picture she committed suicide and left a six-page suicide note, they said.
Her six-page note explained that she had met a Faizal Iman Khan on Facebook a few months ago. He was 26, lived in Kolkata too. He began asking her to date him. Her note says that when she refused, he teamed up with his two friends and created a fake Facebook profile using her name. There, he posted her obscene and morphed photos.
Faizal Iman Khan and two of his associates Dipak and Satish have been arrested.
The police say that the young girl dated the man for three months, and when she broke up with him, he began stalking her, following her to school and later to tuition classes.
The girl never informed her parents of the trauma she was going through. Her parents want the strictest action against the accused.
