ASUS to launch smartwatch based on Android Wear: report

Google’s announcement of Android Wear at the Google I/O 2014 developer conference in San Francisco revealed three Android smartwatches from LG, Samsung and Motorola. ASUS had earlier stated that they would also be manufacturing similar watches.

However, a report from Tech Crunch states that ASUS will also be launching a smartwatch based on Android Wear in September, this year. The prices are likely to be between $99 and $149.

We are yet to receive confirmations from the manufacture on the news.
