Facebook COO’s hush-hush visit to Hyderabad

Hyderabad: On Monday, the Facebook office at Hyderabad saw more security than Fort Knox. Chief operating officer of Facebook Sheryl Sandberg is currently on a India tour and on Monday, she was in Hyderabad on her first-ever visit.

While Facebook officials refused to divulge any further details, we came to know that Sheryl's highly confidential visit was also part of a meet and greet with Facebook's core employees. In fact, most of the ‘contractors’ were not even aware of the 44-year-old’s visit to Hyderabad.

In Kamoda Village in Sheetla Mata, Rajasthan, this women’s circle has worked for a year to save 20,000 rupees and bought goats, which are providing income and milk for their children. One of the mothers brought her three daughters to our circle meeting and told us proudly that she was now sending all three of them to school.”
