Asmita Sood, the army officer

Hyderabad: Asmita Sood’s third film, Aa Aiduguru, is due for release and she is confident that this film will give her a much needed break. “I am waiting for this film’s release and I am confident that hard work always pays. I am sure that Aa Aiduguru will do well,” says Asmita. “I am playing an army officer in this film,” she says adding that the film was not a regular commercial one but also had a message. “A strong storyline and good characterisation can be seen in the film. I worked hard and have given a good performance,” says the actress. She also shared that she has enacted a few action scenes in the film. Disappointed that her second film Adu Magadura Bujji didn’t do well at the box-office, Asmita, however, admits that it is a fact of life that things do not always go as you expect them to. “Now, I am getting lot of offers in Tollywood. This is my third film and I have done one film each in Kannada and Malayalam. I am now concentrating on my career in the South,” she says. She has a few more films in hand and will be announcing details in soon. Though Asmita initially struggled with Telugu, she can now understand and speak the language. “Language is not a big problem now,” she says.
