Ghose will be joining India Today magazine and Rajdeep will work on a book

Mumbai: Rajdeep Sardesai sent out a farewell mail to his employees on Friday evening informing them about him quitting the CNN-IBN news channel.

Being associated with CNN-IBN as the Editor-in-Chief for 9 years, he decided to move on and resigned this evening putting the rumours and speculations to rest.  

According to the reports by the channel, Barkha Dutt was planning to join as the Editor-in-Chief of CNN-IBN, post the resignation of Sagarika Ghose, deputy editor of the channel. The channel belongs to the media conglomerate, Network 18.

As per reports, Sagarika Ghose will be joining India Today magazine and Rajdeep will be working on a book on the 2014 Lok Sabha Elections.
