Nine from Andhra pradesh die in Tamil Nadu wall collapse

Deceased were living in huts set against a 20-foot-high compound wall of an MNC at Alamadi

SRIKAKULAM: Nine workers from Srikakulam district died and another was injured when a compound wall collapsed on huts at Alamadi village in Tiruvallur district of Tamil Nadu early on Sunday.
According to district in-charge Collector, Mr G. Veera Pandyan, the deceased belonged to seven families and were living in huts set against a 20-foot-high compound wall of an MNC at Alamadi. Due to rains the wall collapsed and the workers were buried.
