Gmail now available in 71 different languages

The online email website has added 13 more languages to its existing list

Gmail adds new tabs to help you prioritise your mails with increased storage

Mumbai: In its continuous effort of making Gmail the user-friendly emailing site, Google has added 13 more languages. Previously, Google offered only 58 languages, but now it is available in 71 different languages

The newly introduced display languages for Gmail include Afrikaans, Armenian, Azerbaijani (Azeri), Chinese (Hong Kong), French (Canada), Galician, Georgian, Khmer, Lao, Mongolian, Nepali, Sinhala and Zulu,

Change your language
  • After loging onto your account, click the gear in the top right. Select 'Settings'.
  • At the top of the page, select a language from the 'Gmail display language' drop-down menu in the ‘Language’ section.

      

  • Click Save Changes at the bottom of the page.

Remember, your Gmail's display language doesn't affect the language in which your messages are sent and received. Some of the features available in the English setting may not be available when you select another language setting.
