Andhra Pradesh readies medical roadmap
Kamineni Srinivas has asked the officers to prepare a road-map for improving the existing services
Hyderabad: In a bid to strengthen the existing medical infrastructure in AP, health minister Kamineni Srinivas has asked the officers to prepare a road-map for improving the existing services.
There are 10 medical hospitals in the state and all of them require face-lift.
“Most of the colleges celebrated their silver and golden jubilee. They now require attention in terms of infrastructure. Hence in the budget allotments must be made towards improving the existing structure,” said an official.
Another official said, “At the same time we need to look into the recruitment policies for our faculty. With more students, the colleges require more professors and the gap has to be fulfilled immediately. For this, a comprehensive roadmap is required.”
