Mumbai: Today’s Google doodle includes the animated version of the Estadio do Maracana ready for the 'Clash of the Titans'. The stadium is packed and one can imagine the exhilaration of the fans once the two teams arrive at the field in less than 11 hours from now.

The animated version of this finale stands out as a salute and celebration of the world cup along with the national flags of the top 32 FIFA World Cup 2014 teams. If one stays on the Google homepage for a while, you will observe the screen toggles between blue, red and yellow.

The bottom scroll on the screen runs the banner of the World Cup 2014, highlighting the most celebrated world event of this year. As soon as you click on the banner and Google takes you to the match fixtures, and to all the details of the past, present and future.

When you click at the spectator screen it features 'google minions' as fans from all the nations. Argentina, which advanced to the World Cup finals after a 90-minute deadlock with the Netherlands only to be decided in a tense penalty shootout (4-2), is up against the mighty Germans who crushed past their semi-final opponent (Brazil) in a 7-1 German show.
