Salman Khan unaffected by paparazzi’s stand to boycott him
Photographers are miffed with him for being roughed up at a song launch of 'Kick'
Mumbai: At the recent song launch of ‘Kick’, all hell broke loose when a group of photographers were reportedly manhandled by the security guards of a nightclub, for only doing their job of taking the pictures. At the venue, when the photographers got too close to Salman for taking his pictures, the guards pushed them away.
After the chaos, Salman Khan at the venue, clarified, “ Photographer's need to maintain a distance and if the security guard is protecting us, they are not doing anything wrong. We are there for each other,"
However, what irked the paparazzi is when he asked them to leave if they wished too. Post that incident, the union has decided to boycott the actor and his upcoming film ‘Kick’.
A photographer on condition of anonymity, was quoted in Mumbai Mirror, “Salman Khan needs to apologise to us or else we will not photograph him. The blackout will continue till July 25 when his film ‘Kick’ hits theatres. We will not click him even if we see him cycling at Bandstand. Our union will take up the issue at a meeting on Monday.”
Reacting to the photographers stand, Salman took to twitter and replied
