Islamabad: Digging into the case of Imran Khan’s alleged illegitimate daughter, Arsalan Iftikhar, son of former Pakistan Chief Justice Iftikhar Mohammed Chaudhry, on Monday contacted the National Database and Registration Authority for the family registration certificate of the cricketer-politician.

Arsalan Iftikhar, who was removed from a senior position in the Balochistan government due to opposition from Mr Khan, believes that the  Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf (PTI) chief does not meet the criteria set out in the Article 62 and 63 of the Constitution because he has hidden details of his alleged love child Tyrian White.

“Arsalan Iftikhar has contacted Nadra and will be meeting officials soon”, said an official. He is expected to demand the family registration certificate of Mr Khan. According to sources, the certificate would be an important document for reference against Mr Khan who has maintained a silence over his alleged love child — Tyrian White — and a related 1997 US court judgement.

In 2004, the media had reported that after the sudden death of Sita White, Tyrian’s mother, Mr Khan was ready to look after his alleged daughter. These reports were not refuted by Mr Khan.
