Salman Khan steals the show, again
The star’s mysterious confession about being part of Karan’s film is seen as the outcome of their budding friendship
Karan Johar’s most ambitious and talked-about film Shuddhi has had several top names, from Hrithik Roshan to Ranveer Singh, vying for the lead role.
There were also some rumours about KJo’s good friend Shah Rukh Khan being approached as well. And now we hear that it is Karan’s new friend Salman Khan who has been roped in by Dharma productions.
“I’m doing Karan’s film. I think it’s called Shuddhi,” announced Salman.
The star’s mysterious confession about being part of Karan’s film is seen as the outcome of their budding friendship.
“On Koffee With Karan, Salman had revealed that he was open to the idea of working with him. During the conversation Salman had had taken a dig at Karan about the latter’s usual choice of actors,” says a source.
A while ago Salman had also revealed that he has been roped in by Aditya Chopra to play the lead in YRF’s Sultan.
Salman’s entry in Dharma and his new equation with Aditya has triggered off speculation about SRK’s current equation with both Karan and Adi.
Not very long ago both Aditya and Karan had claimed that they would never even think about making a film without SRK.
This turn of events has kick-started the old debate about the constantly changing camps in the industry.
