Mumbai: Fallen in love and planning for a romantic date? Here are some tips which will help to make your date most memorable:

Make sure you both plan out this special day a week earlier

If you both are planning to go out for a date, it’s advisable that both prior plans should be made. Discuss your plans via text messages or telephone calls. This will help you to get well prepared for your date.

Read all the messages carefully before you start getting ready for your date

Once the day has been decided and arriving closer, make sure you read all those messages again. In the course of the chat, there might be a possibility that your partner hinted at something special he/she wanted on this special day. For example: Your partner might have conveyed to you about how he /she would like to see you in a specific costume or a unique style of proposal expectation.

Go out for shopping and try a new outfit

Try on at least seven different outfits and move on to a new fashion that best suites you.  For girls, wearing light colours like pink, yellow, red, white can bring in the element of romance. And for guys, make sure your shirt has been tacked properly and walk like a responsible gentleman.

A rose, ring and a hand-written letter can be a good pick

If you want to propose your partner in a much systematic and smarter way, pick out a rose and ring for him or her. A hand-written letter can help you pen down your feelings for him or her, which in turn will make your partner realise how much you value him/her.

Sleep well and make sure you don’t get drunk before the day arrives

It’s very important that you sleep for 8 hours before this special day arrives.  Don’t prefer to get drunk before your date, your hangover might ruin your mood on this day. Looking fresh and Happy should be the top most priority on this day.

Arrive on time

Remember to value each other's time- the first rule of respect towards your partner. Arriving late might make him/her feel irritated and less valued.
