Hyderabad: Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has asked MLAs and MLCs of all political parties to work unitedly for achieving cent per cent “per capita happiness” in Andhra Pradesh.

“We should all work to ensure that people of the state remain happy and satisfied. Some people may have money, but they may not be happy. As people’s representatives, we have to work to create income and revenue, solve public problems to keep them happy and content with our work. Achieving this would be real democracy,” Mr Naidu said.

He advised MLAs to emulate “Ramudu” (Lord Rama) by talking to people always with a smile and the conversation should be short and sweet. Referring to Ramayana, he said Ramudu would always speak with a smile on his face. His talk was always short and sweet, and he used to initiate the dialogue. All members should try and emulate him. He called on MLAs and MLCs to work hard for AP which did not have a capital and was poor in infrastructure.
