Clarification: Photo of DMK's K. C. Palani Shamy incorrectly carried with unrelated article

An article published June 1 on the Deccan Chronicle website – ‘CCB files chargesheet against ex-AIADMK MP’ – had inadvertently carried the photo of Mr K. C. Palani Shamy of DMK from Karur.

The article was about police action against former AIADMK MP K. C. Palanisamy of Coimbatore.

The error was unintentional and is deeply regretted.
