Probe on Wakf affairs sought

Hyderabad: The AP Minority Commission on Monday appealed to the Union of India to order a CBI enquiry into Wakf affairs based on the report of the Commission and also other enquiries conducted by the various departments.
Abid Rasool Khan, chairman of the Commission, said at a press conference here that he has submitted a report on the irregularities committed in Wakf affairs to Union minister of minority affairs Najma Heptullah, during her visit to Hyderabad on Saturday.
