Hyderabad: Telangana Legislative Council Chairman Swamy Goud complained to Governor E.S.L. Narasimhan on the poor accommodation allotted to him, leader of the Opposition and others.

Mr Goud has suggested that most of the problems could be solved if the existing Telangana Legislative Assembly premises and adjacent old Assembly Hall (presently used by the Andhra Pradesh government) is handed over to the Telangana government.

Similarly, he wanted the existing Telangana Legislative Council premises in Jubilee Hall and old Legislative Council Hall be given to the Andhra Pradesh government.

If needed, the adjacent Protocol Building can also be given for administrative purposes to the Andhra Pradesh government, he is said to have suggested.

Mr Goud said he had met the Governor and made the suggestions besides requesting him to take immediate action.

“The Governor visited the spot along with officials. But no action has been taken so far,” Mr Goud told Deccan Chronicle.
