Lucknow: The UP police is getting entangled into its own web after the post mortem report of the victim who was allegedly subjected to rape and murder in Mohanlalganj on July 17. The post-mortem report clearly states that the victim had “two kidneys, each weighing about 150 gms”.

The victim, according to her father, had donated one of her kidney to her husband two years ago. Her husband later died. When confronted with the post-mortem report on Tuesday, DIG Lucknow Navneet Sikera said that an inquiry had been ordered into this.

“I have asked the SGPGI administration to submit all documents related to the kidney transplant which reportedly took place there in 2011,” he said.
