Hyderabad: Andhra Pradesh government has decided to conduct Eamcet “medical stream’ counselling for admissions into various medical colleges in a week. It will issue a notification shortly.

Social welfare minister R. Kishore Babu said the AP government is vexed with the attitude of the Telangana State (TS) government in conducting Eamcet counseling. Despite repeated requests and criticism, there is no response from TS Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao. The all party delegation has also represented the issue to the Centre, he said.

“AP government has finalised EAMCET counselling dates for medical and engineering streams. The file would be sent to the TS government. If it does not agree to conduct joint counselling, then we will go to the Supreme Court exposing the TS government stand,” the minister said.
