Leaked: Back panel of iPhone 6 could have a backlit logo
New image suggests a translucent logo on the rear panel, which could be lit
Leak after leak, the iPhone 6 launch is getting even more interesting. With leaked images of the display glass being made from sapphire and the internal components suggesting the two different size variants, the rumour mill is just churning out its crazy contents. It seems like Apple will have the most awaited unveiling of the iPhone 6 this year.

The new leak this time is to do with aesthetics. According to USwitch, the rear panel has a logo that seems to be translucent pointing towards the logo that could possibly be illuminated in the iPhone 6.
The image of the rear panel has the Apple logo which is not engraved or printed on the metal chassis, but is a cut-out with a translucent plastic. The cut-out could only mean that the logo can be illuminated, either for brand highlighting, or for notification alert purposes, with the latter more of a possibility.
The leak at this time of the year, closer to the unveiling, suggests that it could be a final product component with almost no room for last moment changes and redesigning. The edges are rounded; the camera is in the same place as the older models. Below are older images, leaked a few months ago when it in prototype mode.
The iPhone 6 is expected to be unveiled to the world on September 19, with Apple showing off not one, but two size variants for the first time. While one will be a 4.7-inch, the other is expected to be a 5.5-inch phablet.

Previous reports and rumours stated that the 5.5-inch iPhone 6 could be delayed due to some issues with the manufacturing section. Least worried, the 4.7-incher would be definitely unveiled in September while the 5.5-incher could make an appearance on the same day with a delayed sale, expected either end of 2014 or early 2015.
