CM to built English Medium school in every village from Class I to XII

Hyderabad: Revealing his biggest dream of having a common schooling system, which is in vogue in the US and the UK, and also having high-quality English Medium government schools up to Class XII, Telangana State Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao on Saturday said a project to fulfil these will be launched in a phased manner from next academic year.

“The plan is to see that every village has an English Medium school from Class I to XII in the coming 12 years,” he said.

He said that a common schooling system will provide equal education opportunities for all. Mr Rao held a high-level meeting with education department officials to discuss sweeping changes that need to be introduced in education system in the state.
