Hyderabad: The Andhra Pradesh government’s advisory committee on the new capital is of the opinion that a look at international capitals is necessary for a suitable model.

Committee chairman and minister P. Narayana said that the Sivaramakrishnan Committee had been told to visit the best capital cities in the world. It will visit national and international capitals to study and give a report in three months. The team will also visit Naya Raipur, Gandhinagar, Bhubaneshwar, Chhattisgarh and other capitals.

The committee, set up by the Centre and the state government’s advisory committee, on Saturday held discussions for five hours in the presence of AP Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on the new capital.
