Rs 25 crore air-conditioned Double-decker train lying to rot

Mumbai: A double-decker Mumbai to Goa train, which has a capacity of 120 passengers per coach, has been reported to be damaged. As per official reports, the government has spent around Rs 25 crore on this double-decker.
Media reports state that cracks have been found in glass windows as a result of stones being pelted at the double-decker coaches. Several windows in the lower portions of this train been plastered with a blue foil in order hide damage.
This air conditioned double-decker train has been standing on one of the siding tracks between Mulund and Nahur stations. The damage can be a result of the railway’s negligence of parking this train in an area of unscrupulous elements.
