Washington: Microsoft plans to update Windows 8.1 Phone with interactive cases. Windows 8.1 Phone case will also have Cortana and in-car systems, which will help you create a new phone-based address book entry through auto navigation systems.

Windows 8.1 Phone users can create folders to group apps of their choice, a similar feature that is available on iOS and Android. As Windows Phone already supports Voice over IP (VoIP) capabilities, Microsoft plans to add VoLTE (Voice over LTE) to Windows 8.1 Phone, thus enabling faster call setup times and much better call quality.

With its shape writing feature, you just slide your finger around the Word Flow keyboard and the words magically take shape. Windows Phone 8.1 will also feature Voice over LTE support, custom lock screens for phone makers, and folders on the Start screen.
