Debutant director’s film on a treasure hunt
Akki Viswantha Reddy has also produced his film Adavi Kachina Vennela
Hyderabad: Akki Viswanatha Reddy, who is coming up with his directorial debut, Adavi Kachina Vennela, says that the film is about a treasure hunt with all the commercial elements. “During my college days I had heard of a person who had lost all his money in a treasure hunt. I made this film along those lines. I have added a few historical facts and science fiction to the story,” he says.
The debutant adds that he did not know how to approach producers and narrate his story, so he decided to produce the film himself. Aravind Krishna is playing the lead along with Meenakshi Dixit.
The director says that Aravind plays a specialist in detecting metals while Meenakshi plays a national level shooter who aims for an Olympic medal.
