Mudgal IPL probe runs in top gear in Chennai
Special team is probing the allegation that the CSK owner was involved in the scam

Chennai: The probe by a special police team into the IPL betting and fixing scandal of season 6 in 2013 is in to gear currently. The team, with an additional superintendent of police from Tamil Nadu police as head, was appointed after the Supreme Court appointed probe panel of Justice Mudgal criticized the state police for inaction in the case.
The TN police team will report to additional director general of police B.B. Misra presently working as deputy director-general, Narcotics Control Bureau, New Delhi, who is heading the investigation squad comprising policemen from Mumbai , Delhi and Chennai.
The special team is probing the allegation that the Chennai Super Kings owner was involved in the scam.
