Have creative ideas? You can now win Rs 50,000 from the government

Mumbai: The Narendra Modi-led BJP government has good news for the creative lot. Indian citizens now have a chance of winning Rs 50,000 from the government.

The Finance Ministry is inviting designs for logo, name and tagline for their initiative to provide inclusive financial services to the people.

If you think out of the box, you can surely get the money.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently launched a website MyGov that aims to help citizens contribute in governance by giving their opinions and views on important issues like clean Ganga or skill development.

"Finance Ministry invites designs for logo and name, tag line for their initiative to provide inclusive financial services to the people... Winning entry would be awarded a cash prize of Rs. 50,000," the Finance Ministry said.

The last date for submitting entries is August 7. Those interested can log on to http://mygov.nic.in/index.

The inauguration of the people-centric platform also marked the completion of 60 days of the new government.

The initiative claims to bridge gap gulf between people and the government.
