New Delhi: By now, we all are well-aware of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s affection for Twitter.

His idea of using technology for improved governance has prompted several ministries to open twitter and Facebook accounts.

Now, BJP’s 323 MPs have been added to a WhatsApp group. The MPs would receive important information on the group and forwarding jokes might not be allowed.

The lawmakers’ WhatsApp activities would be administered by the BJP Parliamentary office.

On Wednesday, PM Modi also briefed party lawmakers from Rajasthan about the ‘report card’ that the BJP is preparing on their performance after being elected as people’s representatives.

Modi, recently, launched a website MyGov that aims to help citizens contribute in governance by giving their opinions and views on important issues like clean Ganga or skill development.

The inauguration of the people-centric platform also marked the completion of 60 days of the new government.

Earlier in the month, senior BJP leadership also imparted etiquette lessons to first-time BJP MPs.

The BJP, which witnessed a landslide victory in the national elections has 280 MPs in the Lok Sabha, 160 of them first timers, and 43 in the Rajya Sabha.
