Mumbai: Parineeti Chopra, who is most of the time occupied on her film sets, has developed a new passion. She has now taken to scuba diving for which she has trained with Anees Adenwala, of Orca Dive Club, in the month of June. Though, this was just a short stint she had with the diving club, she is yet to be certified as she is also busy with her other commitments.

A friend of her said, “Parineeti Chopra loves to try new things and when she is not shooting, she wanted to start an activity that could take her mind away from the daily chores of life. She learnt of Orca Dive club and got in touch with Anees to enroll for it.”

For the unknown, Anees, also has a company, Underwater Film Services, which specializes is shooting underwater sequence. He has shot the breath taking underwater sequences of ZNMD, Talaash and more recently Happy New Year and Ek Villain. While actors like Aamir, Shraddha Kapoor are certified scuba divers, who finished their training, Parineeti has yet to do another round of session with the diving club.

A friend added, “In May, when she went to Bali, it was the first time she dived into the sea. She fell in love with deep sea diving and decided to get her trained for it. This training that she did with Anees was at an undisclosed location, a pool in Mumbai, however she will resume her next round of training as soon as she has the time to actually go into the ocean along with the instructor.”

This is not for any film, unlike other actors who did it for the role, but just out of passion.
