Hyderabad climate best for shooting, says Telangana Chief Minister

KCR asked officials to speed up the formation of the Telangana Mineral Development Corporation

Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao said the climate in Hyderabad was more suitable for film and TV shootings and said the possibility of the industry shifting from the city following bifurcation was nil. “Cinema City should not be confined to providing shooting facilities for cinema and TV industries. It should also have ultra-modern facilities like graphics and 3D effects studios to make films and TV shows,” Mr Rao said.

The Chief Minister also asked officials to speed up the formation of the Telangana Mineral Development Corporation to tap the abundant mineral resources of the state.

He advised officials to devise a new industrial policy to completely utilise the natural and human resources available in the state.

Mr Rao said that the natural resources and minerals in Telangana had been completed neglected in the united state and these sectors needed to tapped to their maximum possible extent to achieve rapid industrialisation of the state.
