Telangana will not pay fees for Andhra Pradesh: CM K Chandrasekhar Rao

Rao said other states would also make similar demands

Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao, said on Friday that the state government had every right to fix the criteria regarding who was a native of Telangana and who was not. 
 
He reiterated that the state would not pay fees of students from AP or other states and cited Supreme Court and High Court directions issued earlier in this regard.

Mr Rao said if the Telangana government reimbursed the fees of AP students, students from Maharashtra, who are studying here, would also make similar demands and legal issues might crop up.
