Mumbai: After the massive success of Chennai Express, Rohit Shetty is very keen on making another film with Shah Rukh Khan. And he is working on it too. Rohit says, “I haven’t finished working on the script yet.”

And then there are other actors who are desperate to work with him. “Both Varun Dhawan and Arjun Kapoor have been threatening me to sign them on for the film,” Rohit says with a laugh. “Eventually things might fall in place but only when the script is ready. But right now there is no confirmation on the rest of the star cast,” says Rohit.

Speculations about sequels of Rohit’s other films have left the filmmaker stunned. There are talks about films such as Golmaal 4, Punjab Express and Mr and Mrs Smith. “It’s ridiculous. How can I possibly work on multiple films simultaneously? I have no idea how these rumours come up,” he says.

Rohit makes no bones about the fact that he likes working with his friends Ajay Devgn and Kareena Kapoor.

“Having a good equation with my actors and sharing a certain comfort level helps me work with them in perfect tandem. Ajay and I have grown up together and Shah Rukh too is a friend. I don’t like the idea of stepping out of my comfort zone.” Known as the king of sequels, Rohit has managed to rustle up a brand new script from the Southern version of Singham Returns. “Certainly brand Singham and Suriya were the inspiration, but I didn’t want to make a remake of the Tamil version. I had to show some creativity,” he says, tongue firmly in cheek.
