Chandrababu Naidu counsels state officials
Naidu asked officers to disclose their interested departments

Hyderabad: Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has started counselling IAS and IPS officers in order to reshuffle the administration totally.
The CM asked ministers to shift employees from their existing posts in districts. He told them to transfer staff posted three months ago too. In a recent Cabinet meeting, the CM had announced that employees will be transferred within a month.
According to sources the CM told ministers, “There should be no Congress smell in administration.” He said at the village level too, government employees must be transferred. He said if any employee will not work according to directions of the government, action should be taken against them.
He said people should feel that the TD government is in power. All ministers have concentrated on transfer of employees. Some ministers are taking the opinions of TD MLAs in their districts.
Meanwhile, the Chief Minister has himself taken up counselling of IAS and IPS officers. According to sources, the CM is trying to take their opinion about their interests. He is asking officers to disclose in which department they would be interested in working and their opinion about the bifurcation of the state and what are their plans for developing the state.
Expressing happiness, one senior IAS officer said that the CM is doing a good thing, unlike others. He also encouraged to protect the interests of hard working officers. He said that IAS and IPS officers will also get a chance to reveal their opinions and open their mind before the CM. The permanent allocation of All India Service officers to the both states will be completed by the third week of this month.
AP government officers said that the file regarding allocation of All India service officers to both the states is awaiting the approval of the Prime Minister. AP government is expecting that the Prime Minister will take a decision before August 15. Sources said that the Prime Minister Office (PMO) strictly warned not to disclose the contents of the file regarding allocation of All India Officers to Telangana and Andhra Pradesh states.
The Chief Minister will complete his exercise about transfers of All India Service officers and prepare the list by August 15. After permanent allocation, the Chief Minister will issue orders transferring the IAS and IPS officers. Those who are working presently in the AP government may be alloted to Telangana and those who are working in the Telangana government may allot to AP government.
