Chetan Bhagat’s ‘Half girlfriend’ fodder for Twitter jokes yet again
The novel revolves around a love story between a boy from Bihar and a Delhi girl
Mumbai: Author Chetan Bhagat's new novel, a love story, is due for release this October and the book is available for pre-orders on the ecommerce website Flipkart.
An excited Bhagat took to Twitter to announce his new book. While some loved the prologue of his book, others found another reason to celebrate. Time for yet another round of Chetan Bhagat jokes!
The novel revolves around a love story between Madhav, "a boy from Bihar with big dreams who falls in love with the beautiful Riya, a rich lass from Delhi." The video teaser posted by Bhagat on both twitter and Facebook says, "Madhav didn't speak English well. Riya did. Madhav wanted a relationship. Riya didn't. Riya just wanted friendship. Madhav didn't. Riya suggested a compromise. She agreed to be his half-girlfriend."
