Sadananda Gowda barb reflects BJP culture: Siddaramaiah

CM asserted that Gowda should not have spoken in such a manner after assuming charge railway ministry

Bengaluru: Slamming railway minister, D.V. Sadananda Gowda’s remarks on Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee, president, Dr G. Parameshwar, Chief Minister, Siddaramaiah on Tuesday remarked that Mr Gowda’s purported statement was nothing but a reflection on the BJP’s culture.

Speaking to reporters at his home office — Krishna — here, Mr Siddaramaiah said, “Mr Gowda comparing someone’s birthday to doomsday is nothing but a disgrace to Indian culture. His statement is not only reflective of Mr Gowda’s mentality but also of the BJP’s culture.”

The CM asserted that Mr Gowda should not have spoken in such a manner  after assuming charge of the high-profile railway ministry.

It may be recalled that while participating in a BJP function, Mr Gowda had reportedly stated that Dr Parameshwar’s birthday celebration on Wednesday would turn out to be doomsday for Chief Minister Siddaramaiah.
