Train - bus mishap; High Court seeks Telangana's response on cancellation of school's recognition

Hyderabad: Justice A. Rajasekhar Reddy of the High Court on Wednesday sought the response of the Telangana government regarding a plea by the management of the Kakatiya Techno School in Medak district challenging the withdrawal of its recognition by the education department.

The petitioner told the court that the government authorities had withdrawn the recognition granted to the school as its bus carrying schoolchildren met with an accident at an unmanned railway level crossing in Masaipet village of the district.

The judge directed the authorities to submit a report before the court by explaining the reasons for cancelling the recognition granted to the petitioner school.
