Karan Johar and Kareena Kapoor friends again?

Mumbai: Karan Johar is among the few Bollywood denizens to enjoy a warm relationship with virtually all of the industry’s bigwigs. No matter what personal tussles there may be, Kjo always manages to sort them out. A case in point is his friendship with Kareena Kapoor: Industry sources had claimed that all was not well between the duo, because of the back and forth over Shuddhi. Karan, however, stayed non-committal.
On Wednesday night, he was spotted having dinner with Kareena and a few other close friends — apparently in an attempt to bury the hatchet and start afresh. “It was a casual dinner and not to discuss Shuddhi,” a source close to Kareena and Karan said.
Karan is aware that Kareena is committed to working with Salman Khan in Bajrangi Bhaijaan. According to industry insiders, Kareena has kept the option of working in Shuddhi open. The dinner, that was said to be a casual meeting, was attended by members of their respective teams.
“A few days ago, when they met on the sets of a reality show, it was obvious that the warmth in their equation was missing. But Karan and Kareena have decided to let bygones be bygones,” our source added.
