Naidu has decided to set up national-level institutes at each of the 13 districts

Hyderabad: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has decided to set up national-level institutes at each of the 13 districts in the state.
All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Agriculture University and National Disaster Management Institute will be set up in Krishna (Vijayawada)-Guntur districts that is believed to accommodate the capital of the state. While a tribal university will be set up in Vizianagaram, the Indian Institute of Management would be established in Visakhapatnam.
The Petroleum University will come up in East Godavari and the National Institute of Technology in West Godavari. Likewise, the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) and Indian Institute of Scientific Education and Research will be set up in Tirupati and the Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) in Kurnool.
