An expert agency from Hyderabad has been roped in for the project. "We have made efforts to make this drive a joint initiative in which not only JMC, but voluntary and social organisations of the city, restaurant and food outlet owners and the common man will also participate," said CEO of JMC Hari Singh.

He said 250 young surveyors have done a detailed survey of all 65 Wards of the city regarding locations, types and quantity of waste. "The responsibilities have almost been fixed and the drive will begin from Ward 5. It will gradually be extended to the remaining wards," Singh said.
