Sharing household chores will make your relationship last
"I love you", kisses, cuddles, regarding your partner as best friend, helps
London: A new poll has revealed that couples that share their household chores are able to make their relationship last long.
According to the poll, saying "I love you", exchanging five kisses and five cuddles a day and regarding your partner as your best friend also helps, while sharing the same taste in films, sharing the cooking, having at least one romantic meal a month and being able to admit you are wrong after an argument are indicators of domestic harmony, the Daily Express reported.
The survey of 2,000 adults found that simply talking to each other was the activity that people most liked doing together, while doting couples are more likely to have met on public transport than on a blind date.
It was also revealed that 75 per cent did not believe people have to be married to enjoy a loving relationship and typically partners will share three mutual friends. It was also found that today's perfect relationship is based on simple things - such as meals out, travelling together to new places, daily kisses and telling each other 'I love you' before going to sleep.
