Hyderabad: Andhra Pradesh social welfare minister R. Kishore Babu said an estimated Rs 4,934 crore would be required to implement SC/ST sub-plan in 2014-15 financial year in the residuary state.

Stating that the AP government is committed to allocate all the money for welfare of SCs and STs, he said district monitoring committees will be constituted to ensure that funds meant for SC and ST sub-plan are used only for the purpose for which they are allocated.

A portal will be set up soon on which SC/ST sub plan details would be hosted.
