Toppers among Madras High Court staff honoured by Chief Justice
10 students who secured high marks in class X and class XII were awarded

Chennai: The Chief Justice of Madras high court, Justice S.K. Kaul, distributed awards to meritorious wards of high court staff during the 68th Independence Day celebrations at the court on Friday.
Ten students who secured high marks in class 10, class 10 CBSE, plus-two and class 12 CBSE examinations received the award from the Chief Justice. Earlier, he unfurled the tricolour.
The president of bar association D. Selvam urged the Chief Justice to present similar awards to meritorious wards of advocates.
All high court judges, including justices Sathish K. Agnihotri, N. Paul Vasanthakumar and S. Rajeswaran, advocate general A.L. Somayaji, additional solicitor general Rajagopal, DGP Ramanujam, commissioner S. George, president of Madras high court advocates association R.C. Paul Kanagaraj, senior advocates and representatives of bar associations attended the function on the court premises.
